Manchester City Complete €25m Transfer for Brazil Winger Sávio

Manchester City has officially signed 20-year-old Brazilian winger Sávio on a five-year contract, as announced on Thursday, July 18.

Previous Club: Girona
Season Stats: Scored 11 goals in 41 games
International Performance: Represented Brazil in the Copa América, scoring one goal in four matches before Brazil’s elimination by Uruguay in the quarterfinals.

Transfer Details:
Initial Fee: €25 million ($27.3m)
Potential Add-Ons: Up to €15 million ($16.4m)

Career Journey:
Sávio joins Manchester City from French club Troyes, having previously had loan spells at PSV Eindhoven and Girona. Both Troyes and Girona are part of the City Football Group (CFG), which is owned by Manchester City.
