Super Eagles Star John Ogu Hints at Victor Osimhen’s Premier League Move

Written by Oryiman David Mson

Super Eagles star, John Ogu, has suggested that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen may be heading to a Premier League club, stirring excitement among football fans. Osimhen has been the subject of interest from several top European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

Despite making several signings this summer, Chelsea is still on the lookout for a new striker following a less-than-impressive debut season from Nicolas Jackson. Arsenal, too, is looking to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad before the transfer window closes, aiming to build on their impressive 91 goals scored in the Premier League last season.

Recent reports indicate that Arsenal has rekindled its interest in Osimhen, intending to compete with Chelsea for the Nigerian forward. With Osimhen having scored 76 goals in 133 appearances for Napoli, he would be a valuable addition to any squad, offering both competition and cover for existing strikers.

However, Chelsea appears to be leading the race to sign Osimhen, with John Ogu hinting that a move to Stamford Bridge is imminent. The former Nigeria midfielder recently posted on social media, “Osimhen to Chelsea… Here we go!!!”

Ogu, who has consistently shown support for Osimhen on social media, has a close friendship with the striker, suggesting he might have insider knowledge about the transfer. In a recent post, Ogu expressed his admiration for Osimhen, saying, “Osimhen is trending, and he’s trending for good. Anywhere you end up, star boy, I will be rooting for you. I love you.”

As the transfer window nears its end, all eyes are on Victor Osimhen to see where his next move will take him.
