The FRSC has expressed deep concern over the incident, with Ogun State Sector Commander Akinwumi Fasakin describing the crash as a preventable tragedy. He emphasized the need for all drivers to exercise maximum caution and to strictly adhere to traffic rules and regulations to prevent such avoidable losses.
Fasakin urged motorists to maintain a safe speed and to remain attentive while driving, especially on highways, where the risk of severe accidents is significantly higher. He reminded drivers that following traffic laws is not just a legal obligation but a critical measure to protect lives.
This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of reckless driving and the importance of road safety. The FRSC continues to advocate for safer driving practices to reduce the frequency of such fatal accidents on Nigerian roads.
