School Building Collapses on Students Writing Exams in Jos North

Written by Oryiman David Mson

A tragic incident has occurred in the Busa Buji community of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, where a school building has collapsed, trapping numerous students inside. The students were in the midst of writing exams when the building of Saint Academy caved in around 11 am today being Friday 12-7-2024.

Witnesses reported that the collapse has left many students trapped under the debris. In response to the disaster, parents rushed to the scene, many of them wailing in despair as they sought information about their children.

Rescue operations are currently underway, with soldiers, police, and other emergency personnel on-site attempting to free the trapped students. Efforts have been hindered somewhat as a rescue truck became stuck in the mud while en route to the scene.

This devastating event has shocked the local community and raised concerns about the safety and structural integrity of school buildings in the area.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. Stay tuned to Naijahotvibez blog for further details.
