The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced that its Special Forces Protection Group successfully eliminated a notorious terrorist kingpin, Mustapha Abdullahi, along with five members of his group in Kaduna State. The operation was confirmed in a statement by NAF spokesman, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Edward Gabkwet.
According to AVM Gabkwet, a team from the NAF 413 Force Protection Group was dispatched to the area to track down the terrorists. Upon making contact with the terrorists, who were on motorcycles, the group opened fire on the Special Forces. However, they were swiftly overpowered by the superior firepower of the troops, resulting in the elimination of all six terrorists.
The operation led to the recovery of several items from the terrorists, including five den guns, locally fabricated sub-machine guns, live ammunition, assorted charms, lighters, SIM cards, and phone cases.
