The drama that unfolded after the week five eviction show will remain unforgettable for BBNaija fans. With five weeks left, Biggie has shaken things up by initiating the ‘No Loose Guard’ housemates into a brotherhood in a dramatic, cult-like fashion. After spending the first half of the season in pairs, the housemates will now compete individually for the coveted star prize.
As the game enters its second phase, we take a closer look at the housemates whose personalities and fanbases seem strong enough to carry them to the finale:
Doublekay (Kellyrae and Kassia):
The week five eviction results revealed that Kellyrae and his wife Kassia are fan favorites, securing 39.76% of the votes, far ahead of the bottom three. Kellyrae’s captivating voice and presentation skills, combined with Kassia’s creativity and ideas, make them a formidable duo. Even as the game becomes more individualistic, one of them is expected to reach the finale and possibly take home the win.
Ocee and Ozee (The Twins):
Arguably the most competitive duo in the house, the twins Ocee and Ozee have consistently been at the center of house activities and drama. Their strong adaptability and fan support make them likely candidates for the finale. With their high chances of winning the Head of House (HoH) games and securing immunity, at least one of them is expected to be a top contender.
Wanni X Handi (The Female Twins):
Although now playing solo, one of these active and occasionally confrontational twins is likely to face eviction every week. Their strong personalities and loyal fanbase, however, could see one or both of them making it to the finale. It would be surprising if neither of them makes it to the end.
Shaun:
Last week’s surprise victory in the HoH game by Shaun and his partner Victoria was a shocker. Despite their seemingly weak bond, Shaun’s strategic alliance with the female twins could work in his favor if he faces eviction. His plan to keep playing as a pair with Victoria, even in the solo phase, might keep him in the game until the final day.
Victoria:
Quiet and reserved, Victoria is emerging as a strategic player. Though she appears passive, her sharp observation skills and growing alliances with strong housemates could see her stay in the game longer. The Shatoria pair’s decent performance in the eviction polls suggests that Victoria, not Shaun, might have been the fan favorite. She gives off a Nengi-like vibe and could potentially sneak into the finale.
Nelly:
As a video vixen and strong competitor, Nelly has proven her mettle in the game. Part of the record-setting Nelita pair, which won the HoH game twice consecutively, Nelly’s alliance with Sooj might help her stay in the game. Her competitive nature also makes her a strong contender for HoH wins and immunity. Nelly definitely has what it takes to be one of the female finalists.
With 16 housemates left and five weeks to go, the competition is heating up. The upcoming eviction could be particularly intense, with up to four housemates potentially leaving the show. To keep up with the game and support your favorite housemates, make sure to stay connected to your DStv/GOtv.
