Former Big Brother Naija star, Ilebaye Odiniya, has disclosed that her fellow BBNaija stars Angel Smith and Soma Anyama are set to get married in January next year. Although she didn’t provide a specific date, Ilebaye revealed the news in a video message that has since been making rounds online.
“We are not supposed to announce it yet, but [Angel and Soma’s] wedding is next year January. Oh my God, I just exposed you guys,” Ilebaye said, while Angel playfully showed off her engagement ring to the camera.
Angel and Soma’s relationship blossomed during the BBNaija ‘All-Stars’ edition, where they started dating despite both being in relationships before entering the house. Their romance continued to thrive after the show, despite rumors of a breakup following their brief social media unfollowing.
Soma, who was born on May 5, 1992, has had a remarkable journey from being a housemate in BBNaija’s second season in 2017 to returning as an All-Star in 2023. He has become well-known for his musical talent, vibrant personality, and his relationship with Angel, which has captured the attention of fans and followers.
Although there have been occasional speculations about their split, Angel dismissed critics and cyberbullies, advising them to mind their own business.
