Atlanta Rapper Rich Homie Quan Dies at 34

Dequantes Devontay Lamar, the Atlanta rapper known as Rich Homie Quan, has tragically passed away at the age of 34. The Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed his death.

According to reports from TMZ, Quan’s girlfriend discovered him unresponsive on their couch and called 911 after noticing he was foaming at the mouth. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead.

Rich Homie Quan gained widespread recognition in 2013 with his breakout hit “Type of Way,” which quickly became a fan favorite. He went on to release popular tracks like “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Ride Out,” solidifying his presence in the music industry. Quan also collaborated with major artists, including 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, and Trinidad James.

In addition to his solo success, he was notably involved in the “Rich Gang” project with Young Thug under Cash Money Records, further cementing his influence in the hip-hop community.

His sudden passing has left fans and fellow musicians in shock, as they mourn the loss of a talented artist gone too soon.
