By the age of fourteen, he had begun crafting poems and short stories, using the Tiv concept of Imôngo Teman (a platform for oral storytelling and debate) to hone his skills.

Tivzualumun’s formal education began at Government Day Primary School, Dan Anacha in Taraba State. After relocating to Benue, he continued his studies at Hannank Nursery and Primary School, Sankera, then advanced to Trinity Secondary School, Zaki-Biam, and Lante Kukwa Comprehensive College, Jato-Aka.

In 2014, he enrolled at Benue State University, Makurdi, where he pursued higher education and immersed himself in the arts. It was during his university years that he began to blend his passions for music, literature, and history into a cohesive creative identity.

The Birth of a Multi-Disciplinary Artist

For Tivzualumun, art was never just entertainment — it was a weapon, a memory bank, and a tool for transformation. His artistic journey officially began in 2016, but his worldview was already shaped by his early encounters with displacement, ethnic conflict, and the erasure of African histories in mainstream narratives.

By 2017, he had founded Veremba World Entertainment LLC, a creative hub designed to merge music, film, comedy, and cultural advocacy. That same year, he premiered his self-written, directed, and produced film “Ibumegh Ta Bônkô” at Benue State University. The production earned him critical praise from Theatre Arts lecturers, validating his vision and inspiring him to pursue larger projects.

Music Career – From Fleetman to Tivzualumun

• 2017 – 2023: The Veremba World Era

Under the stage name Fleetman, Tivzualumun collaborated with a roster of artists including Attraction, Dada Kulture (formerly Emmytee), Fred Linford (formerly SMK), and others. They released the “Ghetto Life” joint album, a socially conscious body of work that addressed themes like corruption, poverty, tribal conflict, and resilience. Songs such as “Jungle Justice”, “Babylon”, and “One Nation” captured the spirit of the streets, while the title track became an anthem for marginalized communities.

In 2018, he organized the Saving Ghetto Lives Concert, combining a live band performance with an awards night to celebrate unsung talents.

After relocating to Lagos for his NYSC service year, he released singles including “Ganja”, “April Fool” (with Dada Kulture), and “Freedom” (with Oryina Unah and Dada Kulture). These works solidified his reputation as an artist unafraid to confront uncomfortable truths.

• 2023 – Present: The Tiv Kingdom Creators Era

In January 2023, he rebranded himself as Tivzualumun, a name that embodied his mission to preserve and promote Tiv heritage. He created the Tiv Kingdom digital platforms, later officially incorporating Tiv Kingdom Creators LTD in 2024.

To mark the launch, he released the “Or Tiv” EP, featuring Middle Belt heavyweights like Lady Pesh, Pevun Crush, Slim Birdie, Egyptian Cairo, Noobvee, Questhood, Zazzi Ayali, JQ Namameis, Swizzy Vibes, Hman Swaqx, Xerxes, Mr. Laazis, and Krayzie Tee.
