George Ayomide Simon, popularly known as Remedy, is a Nigerian Afropop artist. Born on May 18th in the city of Jos, Plateau State, Remedy hails from a family of four. His parents are Simon Balogun and Christiana Simon, and he has a sister named Lois Ifè Simon.
Remedy began his musical career at the age of 15 while in high school. He attended Gifted Child Academy in Jos, where he completed both his primary and secondary education. Currently, Remedy is a 100-level student of Biochemistry at Plateau State University (PLASU) in Bokkos.
Recognized by his neighborhood in Farin Gada, Remedy was honored with a glassy frame featuring his name designed with emojis, showcasing his growing popularity and appreciation within his community.
Remedy is of Yoruba descent from Osun State, located in the western part of Nigeria. He has released two songs, “Tiktok” and “Crunchy,” and is currently working on an EP titled “Busy Bee.”
