In a devastating attack on Tuesday, gunmen targeted the Kwatas and Daffo communities in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, resulting in the tragic deaths of seven individuals. Retired Brigadier General Gakji Shipi, Special Adviser to Governor Caleb Mutfwang and Coordinator of the state security outfit Operation Rainbow, confirmed the fatalities. “Seven lives were lost, and several others were injured,” Shipi stated. He assured that security forces are actively pursuing the perpetrators, vowing they will not evade justice. “We’ve restored calm in the affected areas and are committed to apprehending those responsible for this heinous act,” he said.
