Written by Oryiman David Mson

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yomi Fabiyi has ramped up his efforts in the quest for justice for the late musician Ilerioluwa Promise, widely known as Mohbad. Fabiyi has initiated a private investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, which he announced via his Instagram account.

Fabiyi, who is also recognized as a Human Rights activist, revealed that his investigation is now in its third day. He stressed the importance of maintaining discretion to protect the safety and privacy of all parties involved.

In a recent update, Fabiyi shared a video from his visit to CURA_MED Hospital, praising the facility for its transparency and adherence to proper procedures. “The hospital did everything right and showed overwhelming proof. Kudos to the staff,” Fabiyi stated.

The actor explained that his investigation aims to be thorough and unbiased, emphasizing that not all details will be made public to ensure the privacy and safety of those involved. “We would rather share with appropriate quarters. But trust me, we will do our best to play our part for a better and safer society,” he added.

Fabiyi also announced a planned peaceful demonstration in front of the Coroner Inquest Court in Ikorodu, scheduled for September 11, 2024, to further advocate for justice.

For individuals with crucial information related to Mohbad’s case, Fabiyi has encouraged them to reach out via direct message.
