Josytherockstarr, born Igbawase Josephine Kumawuese on May 10th, is a young and talented artist hailing from Agbende, Gaav, in Konshisha Local Government, Benue State, Nigeria, and currently resides in Abuja. From a young age, Josytherockstarr displayed a profound passion for music, which has become her world and a source of immense joy.
She began her educational journey at Divine Child Nursery and Primary School Igbo, Agbeede but completed her primary education at Precious Nursery and Primary School in Agbeede. She continued her academic pursuits at Precious Secondary School and later attended Government Girls Secondary School Dukpa in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
Josytherockstarr’s mother, Igbawase Martina, is a dedicated businesswoman, while her late father, Igbawase Iornav, was a farmer who passed away before her birth. Despite this early loss, Josytherockstarr’s determination and love for music have been unwavering.
Influenced by renowned artists such as Kizz Daniel, Fave, and most especially Ayra Starr, whom she admires greatly, Josytherockstarr has been inspired to follow her musical dreams. Her ambition is to create songs that not only reflect her talent but also inspire others. She aspires to connect with the musicians she has long admired, produce numerous impactful songs, and ultimately become a leading figure in the music industry.
Josytherockstarr’s journey is driven by her innate talent, her love for music, and her desire to touch lives through her art. With her unique sound and unwavering dedication, she is poised to make a significant mark in the world of music.
