Nigerian footballer Kayode Olarenwaju has filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Ezinne, amidst a backdrop of multiple disputes, including allegations of infidelity. In a dramatic twist, Olarenwaju has also launched a N1 billion lawsuit against a pastor residing in the UK, named Pastor Tobi.
Olarenwaju’s cross-petition names Ezinne as the Respondent and Pastor Tobi as the Co-Respondent. The footballer alleges that Ezinne had abducted their children, who were later rescued by officials from the Department of State Services (DSS).
Following the abduction, Olarenwaju instructed his attorney to file a petition with the DSS. He also accused Ezinne of undermining their joint business ventures.
A court hearing for this case has been set for September 24, 2024.
