Smallkhid, born Akuha Sylvester Kuranen, is a multitalented singer, songwriter, and stage performer from Borikyo, Ukum Local Government area of Benue state, situated in the middle-belt region of Nigeria. Born on September 7th to Akuha Ajo and Dooshima Akuha, he is the first son and the second born in a family of 5, with 2 girls and 3 boys.

Smallkhid obtained his secondary school certificate from Government Science and Technical College, Zaki Biam, Benue state. He furthered his education at Prime Polytechnic Jida Bassa, located in Kogi state, where he graduated with a National Diploma.

His musical journey began in 2014 while still in secondary school, primarily focused on writing songs due to financial constraints preventing him from recording. Despite facing challenges, Smallkhid persevered in pursuing his dreams. In December 2018, he recorded his first track titled “BadGirl,” featuring Glastonez and produced by Demixtunez.

Being an upcoming artist comes with its difficulties in the entertainment industry, but Smallkhid’s determination and resilience shine through. In 2019, he achieved recognition by winning the Best Artist of the Year award at his school, Prime Polytechnic, Jida Bassa.

Smallkhid is currently making strides as one of the emerging artists in Benue State, showcasing authenticity and talent in his musical endeavors. With his steadfast determination, he is poised to make a significant impact in the dynamic landscape of the Nigerian music scene.
