Renowned rapper Naira Marley, under fire from music producer and blogger Samklef, faces backlash for releasing a new song amidst ongoing controversy surrounding the tragic passing of singer Mohbad. Previously detained by the police, along with his friend Sam Larry, Naira Marley was released due to a lack of evidence linking them to Mohbad’s demise.
Unfazed by the unresolved issues, Naira Marley dropped a new track, sparking widespread criticism. Expressing discontent, Samklef took to Twitter, chastising the rapper for releasing music before the dust from the previous incident settled.
He labeled the latest song as mere noise and attributed such actions to the country’s flawed justice system.
Samklef wrote, “Dem never bury Mohbad. Investigation still dey on; you run go drop music wey be like noise for my ear. I no blame you; na the justice system wey no get head I blame. If to say Naija na country, you for get mind drop any jam for now? Last time I checked, Naija na jungle sha. Enjoy o!”
